Wedgwood Home

This 1956 Wedgwood Cottage hadn’t had one bit of updating since it was built. Charming, right? Actually, pretty daunting when you are talking about taking it down to the studs. But our goal was to maximize the space, calculate every inch of storage that would be needed, bring in as much natural light as possible, and incorporate their dream kitchen appliances. We are in love with the textures, the warmth, the traditional yet modern vibe, and all the whites. But there is no way this family has kids or dogs, right? Wrong. Can someone say “washable fabrics?”!! It was a bold choice for this busy family of eight (counting all of the four-legged friends), but worth the risk and totally doable. Now that’s a space anyone would want to live in.
